wholesome groceries.\n\nJob Overview\n\n Position: Internal Auditor\n\n Location: Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria\n\n Employment Type: Full-time\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCompliance\n\n Carry out routine internal audits across the company's branches and departments to evaluate adherence to established policies, procedures and operational standards.\n\n Examine business processes and assess how effective the internal control systems are.\n\n Detect operational inefficiencies, control weaknesses, irregularities and emerging risks.\n\n Perform unannounced audits and regular inspections to confirm that company policies are being followed.\n\n Confirm that transactions and business activities are properly approved, documented and recorded.\n\n Compile audit findings and present recommended corrective actions to management.\n\n Track the implementation of audit recommendations once approved.\n\nFinancial Records and Transaction Auditing\n\n Inspect financial records, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other supporting documents to confirm their accuracy and authenticity.\n\n Review daily sales reports, cash collections, POS transactions and bank deposits.\n\n Verify cash balances and investigate any differences between recorded and actual amounts.\n\n Review expenses, purchases, supplier invoices and payment documentation to confirm proper authorisation.\n\n Flag unusual transactions, unauthorised expenditures and any possible financial
