We empower people to drive results through clear ownership and metrics.\nAbout the role\nThe Frontier Data Lead (FDL) is the Managing Director's program lead for client delivery and a key driver of account growth. A program is a set of projects in one domain with one goal, and a client can have several. You run those programs, make sure clients are never surprised, and keep our systems accurate. You also understand each partner's goals and organization deeply, connect them with our growth and research teams, and find where we can help next.\nWhat you'll do\nClient delivery and communication\nBe the proactive point of contact for every account, so no client has to ask \"what's the status?\"\nSend regular updates on progress, volumes, quality, blockers, and milestones.\nFlag risks, delays, and scope changes early, with a proposed path forward.\nRun client check-ins covering delivery and what's next, and capture decisions and action items.\nPartner insight and account growth\nUnderstand each partner's research goals, model roadmap, and data priorities, and keep that view current.\nMap and build relationships across each partner's organization, beyond your day-to-day contacts.\nSpot expansion opportunities early and work with the growth team to turn them into scoped proposals.\nOwn an account plan for each partner: goals, stakeholders, current footprint, and next actions.\nLead quarterly business reviews centered on the partner's goals, not only our delivery metrics.\nResearch bridge\nShare partner needs and recurring data challenges with our research team to inform its agenda.\nBring our research insights and roadmap to partners in ways that connect to their goals.\nFacilitate working sessions between partner teams and our researchers where there's shared interest.\nOperations and systems\nMaintain a single, current view of every account, program, and project: status, owner, timeline, and open issues.\nTrack client requests and spec changes through resolution, and confirm with engineers that project setup matches what was agreed.\nKeep the CRM, trackers, and account plans accurate, and audit them regularly.\nPrepare reporting for the Managing Director and leadership on delivery health and account growth.\nBuild lightweight templates and ensure clean handoffs between sales, project setup, and delivery.\nWhat we're looking for\n3+ years in consulting, program management, account management, or client operations, ideally running several client engagements at once.\nExcellent written communication and comfort being the face of delivery, including delivering hard news with a plan.\nStrong organization and attention to detail across multiple accounts.\nA consultative, curious approach and a track record of expanding client relationships.\nAbility to translate between technical and business audiences, in both directions.\nExperience working closely with an executive and making decisions with incomplete information.\nSelf-directed: you spot issues before they become escalations, and opportunities before they become RFPs.\nNice to have\nExperience with AI training data, data labeling, or managed-services delivery.\nFamiliarity with how frontier AI labs and enterprise AI teams build and evaluate models.\nFamiliarity with Labelbox or similar platforms.\nComfort with light automation or no-code tools.\nWhat success looks like\nFirst 90 days\nA current inventory of every account, with status, owner, and next milestone.\nA standard update format and cadence in place for every account.\nSystems audited and up to date, with a routine to keep them that way.\nAn account plan and stakeholder map for each priority partner.\nOngoing\nClients hear about delays, changes, and wins from us first.\nThe Managing Director can see the state of any account in minutes.\nPartners bring us into their planning early, and we engage more teams within each account over time.\nPartner insights shape our research agenda, and our research regularly opens new conversations.\nA steady flow of qualified opportunities that turn into new programs.\nLabelbox strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently. The expected annual base salary range for United States-based candidates is below. This range is not inclusive of any potential equity packages or additional benefits.
