This position offers the opportunity to work on projects that improve water quality, restore natural systems, reduce flood risk, and help communities and infrastructure become more resilient to changing environmental conditions.\nDuties:\nWorking as support on a diverse set of climate resilience-focused projects, including: Drafting support for engineering designs, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and site design for nature-based solutions\nPreparation of calculations and technical documentation \nTechnical writing support for studies and plans \nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related engineering discipline\nApproximately 1-5 years of relevant professional experience\nExperience with engineering drafting and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D\nUnderstanding of basic civil engineering principles related to grading, drainage, stormwater management, and site design\nAbility to prepare clear engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation \nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team \nPreferred:\nExperience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, CivilStorm, or similar programs\nExperience with stormwater management and drainage design\nFamiliarity with stream restoration, flood mitigation, wetland mitigation, or nature-based design\nExperience with GIS and spatial data\nExperience conducting engineering field investigations and collecting field data\nFamiliarity with erosion and sediment control practices and preparation of SWPPPs\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress toward obtaining EIT certification \nSalary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year\nThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.\nBenefits\nBody, mind, and wallet-LaBella’s benefits support a holistic approach to your health and wellness, creating the foundation for physical, mental, and financial well-being.
