As a Survey Field Coordinator for LaBella, you will perform survey work relating to topographic and boundary surveying, construction staking, structure monitoring and other surveying applications in support of land surveying, civil engineering, architectural and environmental projects. You will be working under the direction of Licensed Professional Surveyors.\nDuties:\nThis is primarily an office position with field assignments as required.\nMaintaining quality of data in the office; independently perform accurate simple calculation as needed to complete surveys.\nCompleting analysis of data reduction, computations, and mapping.\nOversees preparation of CAD documents developed by other technical staff ensuring document quality, consistency, and production efficiency.\nPerforms records research and drafting as well as technical report writing and review.\nPrepares cost estimates and assists with proposals.\nCoordinates work schedules and assignments for office staff.\nLead office staff to achieve client & project objectives.\nSupervises, trains, mentors, and coaches jr. office and field staff.\nDaily coordination with department manager, field coordinator, project managers and other office staff to meet and understand the goals, challenges, schedule, budget, and expectations of a project.\nWorks with field coordinator to maintain log of calibration records for survey equipment.\nContinually advance knowledge with upgrades in technology, equipment, and software.\nOperates advanced survey technology including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, digital and differential levels, UAV, high-definition scanners, and data collections devices.\nFollow prescribed safety practices for Land Surveying.\nBuild client relationships.\nSalary Range: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour\nThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.\nRequirements\n Minimum ten years’ experience with a multitude of CAD platforms.\n Experience as a Survey Crew Chief with the ability to become a licensed Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) and obtain future licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) a plus.\n Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills.\n Proficiency with the Trimble family of surveying equipment is a plus.\n Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, and Inroads software is a plus.\n Ability to interpret design and construction plans.\n Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and independently.\n Maintain a current driver’s license in good standing and able to operate company owned vehicles.\n Willingness to work overtime as needed.\n Physical Requirements:\n Sit for extended periods of time.\n Drive a passenger vehicle.\n Use a computer and keyboard.\n Wear personal protective safety gear.\n Work in cold or hot environments.\n Move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.\n Benefits\nBody, mind, and wallet-LaBella’s benefits support a holistic approach to your health and wellness, creating the foundation for physical, mental, and financial well-being.
