This position will have a in-office schedule.\nThe Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.\nThe Lead Engineer will support capital projects associated with Transmission Lines.\nA successful candidate will be self- motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their knowledge through classes in the electrical industry. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual have a positive attitude, flexibility, and possess leadership skills.\nSalary Range: $100,000 - $140,000\nThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.\nResponsibilities\nConductor Selection\nStructure recommendations\nInsulation, A/C interference, static wire, grounding studies\nLine Design: Plans and Profiles, Cross section details\nLiDAR and aerial photo data\nUtilization of wetlands, vernal pool and sensitive resource data in line and structure design and placement\nDetailed estimate and probability modeling\nOther studies as required to complete the projects\nLead overall transmission line design for all capital projects\nReview/Design transmission line plan and profile drawings using PLSCAD to ensure compliance with Client TM standards and NESC/other standards\nDrive the project plan for transmission line routing and strategy, specifically:\nDecide whether to rebuild existing lines or obtain additional right of way based on area congestion and local politics/permitting issues\nDetermine required structure designs based on design constraints\nDetermine routing in and around into congested stations to optimize design/reliability and minimize the number of crossings\nRequirements\n 5-10 years of transmission engineering experience\n Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology\n PE preferred\n Benefits\nBody, mind, and wallet-LaBella’s benefits support a holistic approach to your health and wellness, creating the foundation for physical, mental, and financial well-being.
