Ensuring documentation in conformance to the Quality Management Systems and applicable standards and regulations.\nAbout the Role:\nEstablish and maintain documentation for the inspection and release of raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished medical devices \nPerform quality activities in support of Operations, contract manufacturers and R&D \nSchedule and document calibration and maintenance activities \nSupport design and engineering change processes and associated documentation \nSupport internal and external audit activities and work to resolve audit nonconformities. \nPerform and support process, equipment validations. \nInvestigate, disposition and close nonconformities. \nInvestigate and close product complaints. \nCollect and evaluate quality data for process monitoring, management review and post market surveillance \nPerform quality activities related to CAPA processes \nRepresent Quality Engineering in the development and maintenance of process and product risk assessments (e.g. pFMEAs dFMEA) \nParticipate in Material Review Board reviews including material segregation, investigation, corrections and dispositions \nMinimum Qualifications:\nAt least 5 years engineering experience in a regulated field\nB.S. in engineering or science \nStrong knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO 13485 requirements \nCritical thinking and sound decision-making skills \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nAbility to independently solve problems, lead projects and influence teams \nDemonstrated ability to work as a team player with multi-disciplinary project teams \nDemonstrated ability to interpret technical information \nExperience with quality audits (lead auditor certification preferred) \nASQ certification preferred \nLean Six Sigma training preferred\nWhy Laborie:\nOur Mission every day is to operate as a world-class specialist medical company making and advancing technologies that preserve and restore human dignity.
