This role provides day-to-day manufacturing support through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, line-down response, operator training, process validation, and continuous updates to manufacturing processes for existing medical devices.\nWorking cross-functionally,the Senior Manufacturing Engineer drives process improvements that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Leveraging expertisein lean manufacturing principles and medical device production, this individual identifiesopportunities for continuous improvement, evaluates and implements innovative solutions, and helps advance manufacturing capabilities to support business growth and operational efficiency.\nAbout the Role:\nImprove manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, time study, space requirements, solicitingobservations from operators,and equipment layout. \nDesign, develop,and improvemanufacturing equipment using CAD software and other engineering tools.\nLead the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process.\nManage, execute, document, and support theline validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA, andgeneration of work instructions and control plans.\nParticipate in Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to verify manufacturability of Product Designs\nMinimum Qualifications:\n8+ years’ experienceas a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Deviceswith a bachelor’s degree -OR- 6+ years’ experience with a master'sdegree\nLean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures.\nStrong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools\nExperience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBlack Belt Certification\nMaster’s Degree\nKnowledge of DFM/DFA\nWhy Laborie:\nOur Mission every day is to operate as a world-class specialist medical company making and advancing technologies that preserve and restore human dignity.
