3:30 PM, Monday - Friday\nWhat You'll Run\nClassic 3-axis CNC mills and lathes\nManual mills, lathes, and saws\nLarge 5-axis gantry mill\nMultiple large horizontal boring mills (HBMs)\nLarge vertical turret lathes (VTLs)\nExotic materials for flight-critical applications\nResponsibilities\nSetups: Perform complete setups, touch-offs, and tool offsets on short-run parts.\nG-Code Edits: Modify programs at the controller to troubleshoot and hold accuracy.\nClose-Tolerance Machining: Cut complex geometries in exotic materials for flight-critical parts.\nManual Machining: Run manual mills, lathes, and saws for secondary operations.\nBlueprints & GD&T: Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.\nProgram Verification: Prove out MasterCam programs with engineering to improve efficiency.\nInspection: Check finished parts with precision measuring tools to AS9100D standards.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nRequired:\n3+ years professional machining experience\nPerforms own setups and offsets\nEdits G-code at the controller\nExperience machining parts to close tolerances\nReads complex prints with GD&T\nStrong knowledge of precision measuring tools\nPreferred:\nPrior experience running 5-axis machines\nProficiency on manual mills and lathes\nAerospace or defense manufacturing background\nAS9100D or Nadcap environment experience\nExperience fabricating
