Laconia, NH\nCompensation: Up to $40/hr\nSchedule: 1st Shift\nEmployment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire\nResponsibilities:\nLead daily inspection activities, coordinate workloads, and oversee the quality inspection team.\nTrain, mentor, and provide technical guidance to inspectors.\nPerform receiving, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAIs) on precision CNC-machined components.\nRead and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances.\nPerform inspections using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and other precision measuring equipment.\nReview inspection reports and ensure accurate documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).\nIdentify nonconforming material and coordinate corrective actions with manufacturing and engineering.\nSupport equipment calibration, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain department efficiency, inspection accuracy, and compliance with established quality standards.\nRequirements\n5+ years of quality inspection experience in a precision CNC machine shop environment.\nPrevious lead, supervisory, or senior-level inspection experience preferred.\nStrong hands-on dimensional inspection experience with precision-machined components.\nProficiency reading engineering drawings and interpreting GD&T.\nExperience using CMMs and a wide range of manual precision measuring equipment.\nExperience conducting First Article Inspections and documenting inspection results.\nAbility to train inspectors, prioritize workloads, and oversee daily department operations.\nFamiliarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems and quality documentation.\nStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving
