hiring an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established precision machining and manufacturing operation near Concord, NH.\nThis is a hands-on quality inspection role focused on ensuring precision-manufactured components meet engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and customer requirements.\nYou'll work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality personnel to inspect components throughout the production process, identify dimensional or quality issues, and help maintain high manufacturing standards.\nWe're looking for someone who is comfortable reading technical drawings, using precision inspection equipment, and working directly with machined components.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components.\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and inspection requirements.\nInspect components using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, surface plates, optical comparators, air gauges, thread gauges, plug gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).\nConduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) according to customer and internal quality requirements.\nVerify dimensional accuracy and identify components that do not meet specifications.\nDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality records within the company's Quality Management System (QMS).\nWork with manufacturing and engineering personnel to identify and document nonconforming material.\nAssist with the disposition and documentation of discrepant material.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.\nStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.\nHands-on experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.\nUnderstanding of dimensional inspection techniques and manufacturing quality requirements.\nAbility to accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify dimensional or manufacturing defects.\nComfortable working with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience inspecting precision CNC-machined components.\nFamiliarity with CMM inspection equipment.\nExperience conducting First Article Inspections.\nKnowledge of GD&T principles.\nFamiliarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems and
