In this high-impact role, you will architect and lead the design of our first industrial lithography tool, bridging physics, engineering and partners across Barcelona and Bergen.\nWorking alongside physicists and developers, you will be working as a lead designer of Lace’s first industrialized tool.\nThis role is based in Barcelona (Spain) or Bergen (Norway), and will involve regular travel between our key locations throughout the year.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDefine requirements of the tool’s subsystems and modules\n\nDefine the system interfaces and integration strategy\n\nAssure the system meets engineering and compliance standards (SEMI S2)\n\nAct as a bridge between departments\n\nLead discussions with external/outsourced partners\n\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive system documentation\n\nLead technical projects for system development (incl. project scope, timelines, technical risks, progress reports, cross-functional execution etc.)\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nSemiconductor Equipment design and manufacturing (at least 2 years of proven experience)\n\nStrong knowledge in optics and metrology\n\nRequirements engineering\n\nSystem architecture and integration: interface control and modular design\n\nPlanning, risk assessment and stakeholder management\n\nBOM management\n\nFMEA & Troubleshooting\n\nCapable to think outside his/her own domain\n\nBackground in physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering or similar\n\nOur team here at Lace:\n…consists of amazing people who’ve joined us from all over the world, driven by intense curiosity, the urge for exploration, and a desire to push the limits of physics.
