If you're eager to solve real-world challenges and make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; Civil, Mechanical, or other engineering disciplines with an interest in electric utility systems are encouraged to apply.\nInterest in power systems, electric utility operations, or infrastructure design.\nCompleted coursework in engineering fundamentals.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nInterest in learning electrical distribution system design, construction, operation, and maintenance.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license.\nWhat You'll Do & Learn\nWorking alongside our Engineering team, you’ll have opportunities to:\nAssist with overhead and underground electric distribution design.\nParticipate in feeder planning, voltage analysis, protection coordination, and system improvement projects.\nResearch engineering standards and equipment specifications.\nGain exposure to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and other technologies used to plan, design, monitor, and operate an electric distribution system.\nParticipate in field staking, design verification, and construction inspections.\nPerform engineering calculations and technical analysis using utility engineering software.\nCollaborate with engineering personnel and other departments to solve real-world challenges.\nSupport engineering projects from initial concept through construction.\nAssist with project documentation and material specifications.\nDevelop technical communication skills by preparing drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance engineering practices.\nYour Future Starts Here\nWe believe the best way to build a strong engineering team is to develop great engineers.
