LAFC is invested in the world’s game and Los Angeles, constructing, and developing the 22,000 seat BMO Stadium and a top-flight training center on the campus of Cal-State Los Angeles.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Coordinator, Supporter Relations serves as the bridge between the Los Angeles Football Club front office team, 3252 Supporters Union, and other independently operated LAFC fan groups. Serving as an extension of the Club, this person will also be a proactive force within the local Los Angeles community and on LAFC match-days to ensure fan perspectives are heard and club initiatives are communicated effectively.\nThis role reports to the Director, Brand and Community.\nLAFC is currently operatingon a hybrid work model with a minimum of 2 in-office days per week. Please note that this may vary by role, and your scheduled in-office days are up to the discretion of your supervisor. \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nServe as the main point of contact between Club leadership, supporters, fan groups, and the community while striving to build and nourish positive relationships. Coordinate regular town halls, meetings, leadership roundtables, and public feedback sessions to align Club decisions with community interests.\nMaintain a visible presence on LAFC match-days, including, but not limited to supporter sections, tailgates, away trips, and watch parties, to foster a safe, inclusive, and energetic environment for new and existing fans and community members.\nWork alongside the LAFC content team to support authentic social and digital content production of match-day and fan culture as well as community stories.\nProvide support in grassroots projects and campaigns focused on growing brand awareness, engagement with homegrown soccer communities, local leagues, sports bars, and other local community soccer networks across the Greater Los Angeles area.\nWork cross-collaboratively and cross-functionally with various internal departments in the planning and execution of key club announcements and fan-centric, community, and supporter-related events. Provide administrative and logistical support to the marketing team coordinating various community projects and initiatives. \nTravel with the team to help manage supporter relations and movements as needed.\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited College/University required, major in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, or related field preferred.\nMinimum of 1 - 2 years’ of experience in the sports industry in a community focused role required, professional team experience preferred.\nMust have solid knowledge of Major League Soccer (MLS) and international soccer, specifically their culture and global impact.\nStrong knowledge of Los Angeles culture and history. \nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and interact with internal stakeholders at all levels and external audiences.\nMust be able to serve as an extension of the Club by always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. \nAbility to work productively and multi-task in an unstructured fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. \nAbility to communicate effectively and efficiently in English, both verbal and written. \nMust have reliable transportation to commute and transport inventory to various work locations throughout Southern California at any given notice. \nFlexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.\nMust be able to obtain or possess a valid, current U.S. passport and be able to travel as needed.\nBilingual in Spanish is a plus.\nSALARY RANGE \nAt LAFC, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience and training.
