Together, we offer an even broader range of engineering and consulting services in the business units of Power & Heat, Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, and Hydro.\nLahmeyer International thus stands for innovative projects and exciting challenges and is a competent and reliable partner for complex consulting projects and sophisticated engineering services in both national and international contexts.\nTo continue our growth, we’re looking for you to join our team in our business unit Hydro at the location Bad Vilbel or at project offices worldwide as soon as possible as a qualified and dedicated\nMechanical Engineer (m/f/d) - Hydropower Plants\nWhat you can achieve with us:\nYou will be responsible for the planning of hydropower plants, including the definition and sizing of main and auxiliary mechanical and hydromechanical plant equipment\n\nYou prepare cost estimates for engineering services, support the preparation of offers and contribute to contract negotiations\n\nWithin the Plant Equipment Engineering team, you draft feasibility studies and technical tender documents\n\nWhen evaluating suppliers' bids, you assess their technical compliance and economic viability\n\nYou will review technical execution documents regarding contractual compliance and support manufacturing supervision at the supplier's facilities\n\nTogether with your team, you will coordinate and supervise assembly and commissioning activities for hydropower plants in Germany and abroad and support factory acceptance test (FATs)\n\nWhat convinces us:\nYou hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification\n\nWith 5 to 10 years of professional experience, you have a strong background in the planning and implementation of hydropower plants or comparable power plant projects\n\nPreferably, you have gained experience working on international and German-speaking projects\n\nYou have sound knowledge of mechanical power plant equipment and the associated systems\n\nIdeally, you have experience preparing project studies and tender documents for the construction and rehabilitation of hydropower plants\n\nFor project-related assignments, you are willing to travel domestically and internationally\n\nYou speak fluently English, both written and spoken;
