the job function of the QC Manager\nCollect samples of raw ingredients, raw packaging and finished goods using GMP\nsampling techniques\nDaily production floor inspection\nConduct routine quality tests (organoleptic, purity, moisture, etc.)\nOperate general lab equipment and instruments (i.e., water activity meter, rotap, etc.)\nDaily Pre-op Inspections\nFollow all pertinent SOPs\nCommunicate technical information with parties that have little background in food\nquality and safety\nManage multiple high-priority projects\nReview batch records and release products\nCollect daily micro samples pre-, during, or post-production\nCritically troubleshoot non-conformances\nUphold quality standards and policies in accordance with 21 CFR PART 117, FSMA, and\nother applicable regulations\nRequirements\nSkills and Experience:\nAdvance communication skills in English, both verbal and writing\nBasic laboratory knowledge and experience\nPCQI or HACCP training preferred\nEager to learn new skills and systems\nWork and contribute to a team environment\nLift up to 50lbs occasionally\nComfortable working with fall protection\nBasic Microsoft Office skills\nBasic computer skills to support data entry in various
