As we continue to grow, including plans to move into a brand-new facility in 2027, we are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team.\nPosition Overview\nAs a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, positive experience while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced veterinary environment.\nThe ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people and their pets. Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but candidates with strong customer service experience and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do\nGreet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and empathy\nAnswer multi-line phones and manage appointment scheduling\nCheck patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accurate records\nAssist clients with general questions regarding services, medications, and hospital policies\nProcess payments and manage daily financial transactions\nCoordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners\nManage client records within the practice management system\nSupport both general practice and weekend urgent care scheduling needs\nMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area\nProvide compassionate support to clients during difficult or emotional situations\nQualifications\nRequired\nExcellent customer service and communication skills\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities\nProfessional and positive attitude\nAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment\nBasic computer proficiency\nAvailability to work a rotating schedule that may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays\nPreferred\nPrevious experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Customer Service Representative\nExperience in a veterinary, medical, dental, or animal care setting\nKnowledge of veterinary terminology\nFamiliarity with veterinary practice management software\nExperience working with exotic pet owners is a plus\nWhat Makes Our Hospital
