Position Summary
The Emergency CSR plays a critical role in supporting the flow of our 24/7 emergency hospital. This position is responsible for managing incoming emergency calls, coordinating patient check-ins, obtaining accurate patient information, supporting medical team communication, and ensuring clients feel supported throughout their visit.
This role is ideal for someone who can remain calm and professional during high-stress situations while creating a compassionate and welcoming experience for clients and patients alike.
What You’ll Do
- Answer and manage incoming emergency calls with urgency, professionalism, and empathy
- Provide compassionate support to clients during stressful and emotional situations
- Obtain accurate patient histories and communicate effectively with the medical team
- Triage calls appropriately and prioritize incoming cases based on urgency
- Check in emergency patients efficiently while maintaining a positive client experience
- Support front desk workflow including documentation, payments, and medical record management
- Collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, assistants, and leadership to support patient care
- Maintain an organized, professional, and team-focused reception environment
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of veterinary CSR or reception experience required
- Emergency or specialty veterinary experience strongly preferred
- Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and efficient in high-pressure situations
- Confidence handling emotional or sensitive client interactions
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and support others

Compensation Range
