Seasonal Data Entry Specialist (On-site)

Lakeshore Learning makes hands-on educational materials that end up in classrooms and homes across the country - and accurate, timely order processing is a big part of how we deliver on that promise. As a Seasonal Data Entry Specialist, you'll help keep orders moving by entering customer orders with care and handling incoming calls with a friendly, helpful touch. It's detail-oriented work that matters, and we'll train you every step of the way.

A day on the job looks like this:

• Process written customer orders accurately into our system, meeting daily throughput and quality targets
• Answer incoming customer calls to capture and confirm order information clearly and professionally
• Catch and flag order discrepancies early so they can be resolved before they affect fulfillment
• Keep your supervisor informed of any volume spikes, errors, or issues that need a second set of eyes
• Build familiarity with our order systems and processes, applying feedback to get faster and more accurate over time

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to type at least 50 WPM accurately
• Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Based in or able to commute to Carson, CA - this is a fully onsite, seasonal role

Preferred:

• Prior experience in order entry, data entry, or a call center environment
• Familiarity with order management or customer service systems

• Hourly: $19-$20
