Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues during the testing phase. \nMaintain and update comprehensive documentation of all mechanical designs, drawings, and changes made during the project. Preparing final designs and specifications \nCommunicate progress updates and estimated completion time to project engineers and managers. \nStay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical components and automation technologies \nKnowledge and skills required for the role:\n2+ years of experience in a Piping/Mechanical Designer role in a related industry \nDemonstrated proficiency in Modelling/Drafting techniques and standards \nProficiency with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, Inventor\nExperience generating Fabrication, General Arrangement, Hook-Up, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) drawings \nManagement of software palettes to match piping material specifications \nGenerates reports, including: line lists, material take-offs, etc. \nKnowledge of engineering and piping codes and standards, specifically ASME B31.1 and B31.3 \nKnowledge of piping material specifications and piping flexibility principles.
