you will be doing in the role of Technician, Combustion Services:\nYour responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nOn-site services including configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting\nSome travel, overtime and after-hours coverage would be required\nMust be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call to respond to emergencies when required\nMust be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather \nFollowing through with customer maintenance contract work\nConsulting diagrams and technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, standards and codes \nInstalling, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital including HART)\nCalibrating components and systems\nG1 Gas Technician (Strong G2 may be considered) license to support industrial boiler & burner applications and customers\nMaintaining sound working relationships with customer's personnel in various functional departments, such as: engineering, purchasing and maintenance.\nProviding a premier level of customer service\nTimely resolution of all customer concerns\nPromoting a team approach within Lakeside\nPerforming other duties supportive of main objectives, as assigned\nPromoting services capability\n\nKnowledge and skills required for the role:\nG1 Gas certification, (OBT 1,2,3 an asset)\nMinimum three (3) years’ prior experience\nStrong customer service skills\nAdvanced troubleshooting abilities\nIntermediate understanding & implementation of CSA B149 Code\nAble to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights\nConfiguration/Set-up & Troubleshooting knowledge on various Burner Management Systems & Controls including but not limited to Honeywell 7800, Fireye Nexus, & Siemens LMV\nKnowledge on measurement devices (Flow, pressure, temperature, level, analytical, control valves & positioners)\nUnderstanding of electronics and basic electrical requirement\nAbility to make recommendations & combustion curve changes based on portable gas analyzer data\nKnowledge of process control\nStrong ability to troubleshoot problems, provide results & recommendations to customers\nPrevious exposure to programming & wiring of PLC’s, DCS’s and single loop controllers would be an asset\nProficient in computer operating systems (DOS, VMS, Windows)\nProficient in software applications (word processing, spreadsheet)\nTraining and Presentation skills\nProject Management
