At the same time, we have ambition to build an international brand by establishing an even more global presence.\nWe are seeking a Public Affairs Associate to support Lalamove Malaysia's regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and external dispute resolution. The role primarily focuses on managing formal ministerial complaints, representing the company at statutory tribunals (consumer and gig worker disputes), liaising with public agencies, and assisting in policy monitoring during key political and regulatory cycles.\nWhat you'll do\nDispute Resolution and Tribunal Representation\nRepresent Lalamove at hearings before the Consumer and Gig Worker Tribunals.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Customer Service and Driver Operations) to compile evidence, case chronologies, delivery logs, and defense submissions.\nTrack, log, and maintain a registry of all tribunal filings, rulings, compliance payouts, and settlement terms.\nMinisterial Complaints & Regulatory Correspondence\nAct as the operational liaison for official complaint referrals and inquiries from government agencies, including MOT, APAD, KPDN, KESUMA, and PDRM. \nDraft formal response letters, explanatory statements, and incident reports in formal Bahasa Melayu and English within required deadlines. \nExternal Meetings, Working Groups & Forum Attendance\nAttend government working group meetings, ministry town halls, industry association sessions, and public policy forums.\nTake detailed notes, identify key policy takeaways, and brief internal leadership on actionable regulatory developments affecting the platform economy.\nSupport the organization of government outreach initiatives, site visits, and driver engagement events (e.g., driver welfare engagements, ministry CSR initiatives).\nPolicy Tracking & Political Horizon Scanning\nMonitor legislative amendments, statutory guidelines, Hansard debates, and political developments impacting platform delivery, road safety, and gig economy regulation.\nWhat we seek\nReady, willing, and able
