The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of ISO standards, regulations, and operations management, is detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills. This role is responsible for providing interpretation of and guidance on ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 45001 standards, as well as applicable regulations and requirements, including training and preparing the organization for audit expectations. The Audit & Compliance Coordinator’s role is to contribute to our audit program to maintain high quality standards and improve audit performance and processes.\nWhat you’ll do\nAssist with preparation and submittal of audit reports and performance data to management.\nAssist with the resolution process of any non-compliance issues/non-conformities discovered during audits.\nAssist with ensuring that all GWS procedures are well maintained, up to date, and acknowledged by appropriate stakeholders.\nAssist with the development and implementation of ISO procedures and documentation.\nParticipate in risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.\nComplete regular inspections to ensure audit readiness.\nActively participate in audits and inspections.\nEnsure department-wide understanding and adherence to regulatory, legal, and ISO standards.\nTrain and support the organization on ISO requirements and changes.\nMonitor and report on the performance of proper use of IWMS by GWS, ensuring the system is being used and processes are followed.\nActs as a subject matter expert for the team for audit related-requests and questions.\nProvide options on how best to facilitate improvements and new processes within GWS to ensure audit readiness and compliance.\nWho we’re looking for\nMinimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience. \n3+ years of experience in Facilities operations or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in audit processes.\nExperience with training using adult learning principles, concepts, and development methods.\nProject management experience is a plus.\nISO auditor certification is a plus.\nPreferred qualifications\nComfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.\nComfortable working independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nOutstanding customer service skills.\nImpeccable attention to detail.\nExtensive knowledge of ISO standards and regulations.\nExperience with audits and understanding of the audit process.\nExcellent training skills.\nProficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nProven experience in operations.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
