Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.\nIn this role, you will directly contribute to development of cutting edge, next generation, semiconductor wet deposition tools.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign and develop complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and/or solutions, applying engineering methods to design.\nContributes to research and development efforts by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs.\nDevelops functional specifications for electrical/ electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components.\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system components.\nPerform hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterize the performance of electrical/electro-mechanical systems.\nPrepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences in design reviews.\nActs as a resource and mentor for more junior colleagues.\nWho we’re looking for\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent work experience.\nHands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), signal and controls theory, development and associated electrical board design, troubleshooting and validation.\nSolid understanding of AC/DC Power distribution systems.\nIn depth system level understanding of Electrical architecture, system integration, and applications.\nExcellent working knowledge in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and low voltage circuit design for power and control applications.\nExpertise in application of power and controls technologies for systems automation.\nKnowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, HFSS).\nPreferred qualifications\nAbility to define functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment.\nFamiliar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliability.\nHighly proficient at troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs.\nExperience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques such as 5-why, 8D, fishbones, etc.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills including technical presentations.\nExperience in semiconductor industry or related (industrial, automotive, military).\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
