This is a highly visible role within our New Product Development team, where you will drive electrical architecture, control systems, and integration from concept through production release. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.\nIn this role, you will directly contribute to development of cutting edge, next generation, semiconductor wet deposition tools.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead the design and integration of complex electrical systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.\nOwn electrical architecture, power distribution, controls, safety circuits, and subsystem interfaces.\nDesign and implement distributed automation systems utilizing EtherCAT networks, distributed I/O, servo drives, sensors, and actuators.\nDrive system-level technical decisions, balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost.\nDevelop functional specifications for highly complex electrical/ electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components.\nPartner with Mechanical, Systems, Controls, Software, Process, Manufacturing, and Service Engineering teams to solve complex integration challenges.\nLead laboratory validation, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and design verification activities.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to electrical engineering best practices. \nWho we’re looking for\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.\nStrong background in electrical system architecture, industrial controls, and power distribution systems.\nExperience designing and releasing complex electrical systems from concept through production.\nHands-on experience with EtherCAT-based machine control systems and industrial automation.\nExperience with electrical CAD and design tools such as OrCAD, Zuken, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system integration skills. \nPreferred qualifications\nSemiconductor equipment or complex capital equipment experience.\nExperience with Beckhoff/TwinCAT or similar EtherCAT platforms.\nKnowledge of SEMI, UL, CE, IEC, and NFPA-79 standards.\nFamiliarity with machine safety, EMC/EMI design, and controls architecture.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional technical projects and mentoring engineers. \nAbility to define functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills including technical presentations.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
