This position is based out of Bangalore, directly reporting to the leader of WETS (Wet Equipment Technology Solutions) Electrical Engineering team of LIGHT. This individual shall collaborate with engineers in India, Europe and United States and on new product development of WETS product lines.\nThe impact you’ll make\nJoin Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop Functional Requirement Specifications for various Electro-Mechanical systems.\nSelection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Sensors, Cables, PCBs etc.\nCreate and Release system level Electrical engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.\nWork on Electrical/Electronic engineering CAD tools for circuit design & simulations. \nPerform various circuit analyses like De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc. \nDefine project schedule, work breakdown structure and milestones to drive concept to production lifecycle.\nStudy and recommend corrective/ permanent solutions for technical challenges/new products.\nDefine test procedures, and participate in assembly, build and test verification\nWell versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities.\nConduct and drive Design reviews to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.\n\nMandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:\nProficient in system level understanding of Electro-Mechanical Sub-systems (Semi-conductor/Automotive/Aerospace), Control systems and/or Industrial Automation.\nProficient in Electrical/Electronic Circuit concept design & development with safety interlocks & various circuit analyses. (Circuit analyses include De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.)\nDemonstrated Electrical/Electronic OEM components, cable and harness design strategy - segregation of power, signal, communication, safety along with shielding, grounding, noise immunity philosophy\nExpert level knowledge of Engineering change management & problem-solving skills, experienced with FMEAs\nMust have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation.\nFamiliar with standards like - UL 508, IEC 60947, SEMI S22, NFPA79.\n\nEligibility Criteria:\nBachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum 8 exp. or \nMasters in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 6 Yrs Exp.\n\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
