Our objective is high volume metrology data generation, with rapid turnaround times to facilitate more experimental iterations and a faster time to solution.\nWhat you’ll do\nThis position is for a TEM operator working a Front End Night shift.\nShift will be 12hrs Sunday-Tuesday plus every other Saturday\nOperate a state-of-the-art TEM in order to image semiconductor samples.\nProtect customer IP through procedure and vigilance.\nGenerate and integrate feedback contributing to the continuous improvement of the sample preparation process.\nProduce the best quality data in support of Lam's processes.\nWho we’re looking for\nCandidates looking to continue or advance a career in electron microscopy.\nPeople who see task repetition as an opportunity to iterate and innovate towards better methods.\nCareful, detail-oriented observers.\nFondness of learning and ability to respond well to feedback.\nWillingness to work a night shift schedule as described above.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience operating HRTEM and S/TEM for imaging. Ideal candidates will have performed semiconductor or materials imaging.\nA BS or Associate level degree in a physical science such as Physics, Engineering or Chemistry.\nKnowledge of physics involved with FIB/SEM and TEM tools, such as vacuum systems, diffraction, and ion sputtering behavior.\nExperience in customer IP protection and sample handling.\nExperience with TEM sample preparation using a FIB preferred.\nExperience with EDS and EELS preferred.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
