Through technical development and continuous improvement we solve difficult analysis problems and leverage efficiencies to increase our throughput and reduce our time to data.\nThe impact you’ll make\nYour major responsibility will be to process samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios SEM tools. Sample types will consist of top-down imaging, and cross-sectional SEM (XSEM) imaging. Additional responsibilities include imaging AutoTEM prepped lamella using installed STEM detector on SEM Tool.\nWhat you’ll do\nFollow lab methodology for TDSEM/XSEM sample preparation consistent with quality standards.\nOptimize personal workflow for efficient throughput of samples.\nCommunication with lab management to provide work completion time estimates.\nProvide feedback to lab management for continuous improvement opportunities in lab workflows.\nCommunicate with team members to ensure alignment on methodologies.\nProtecting customer material and IP at all times.\nWho we’re looking for\nAbility to work Compressed Graveyard Schedule (Wed-Fri, every other Saturday) 5pm - 5am.\n0-2 years of experience with a BS degree in a physical science, or a specialized AS degree or equivalent professional training on materials science and analytical techniques. \nExperience operating single beam SEM tools, with particular focus in the preparation of cleaved cross-sections for XSEM imaging.\nKnowledge of the physics involved with SEM tools, such as vacuum systems, voltage/current effects, and ways to work around charging issues.\nSample prep experience in precision cleaving tools is a plus.\nPreferred qualifications\nFamiliarity with key developments and materials in the semiconductor industry is a plus.\nExperience creating and presenting technical documentation.\nExperience in customer IP protection and sample handling is a plus.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
