The group you’ll be a part of The SEM Lab in Tualatin is committed to providing best-in-class microscopy services to support Lam’s engineering and development efforts. Through technical development and continuous improvement, we solve difficult analysis problems and leverage efficiencies to increase our throughput and reduce our time to data. The impact you’ll make The major responsibility is to prepare STEM samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios dual beam FIB-SEM tools using ifast and AutoTEM software in an autonomy focused workflow. Primary responsibility for this position is the preparation and imaging of samples in Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM) using Thermo Fisher Helios systems. Additional responsibilities may include FIB-SEM analysis, EDS, and Critical Dimension SEM. What you’ll do Follow lab methodology for STEM sample preparation consistent with quality standards. Utilize optimal workflows for efficient throughput of samples. Excellent communication with lab personnel and external business groups to prioritize sample processing.
