This role will focus on advancing long-term renewable electricity goals, supporting onsite solar deployment, aligning new construction projects with our sustainability and net zero goals, and driving sustainability integration across facilities operations.\nThe ideal candidate combines technical facilities engineering expertise, project execution capability, and sustainability acumen, with experience working across diverse regulatory and infrastructure environments in Asia.\nThis role will partner closely with ESG, Global Workplace Services (GWS), EHS, and regional site teams to translate corporate climate goals into practical, site-level implementation.\nWhat you’ll do\nAPAC Renewable Energy Strategy Execution\nSupport development and implementation of a regional renewable energy strategy, including onsite solar, power purchase agreements, and other procurement mechanisms, tailored to local market conditions.\nConduct site-level feasibility assessments for renewable energy projects (e.g., rooftop solar, ground-mounted PV, storage integration).\nAnalyze energy demand, load profiles, and regulatory constraints to identify optimal deployment pathways.\nReview technical specifications, system design (e.g., PV sizing, interconnection), and performance expectations.\nMonitor operational performance and identify optimization opportunities post-installation.\nTrack progress toward renewable electricity and Scope 2 goals across APAC sites.\nSustainable Construction & New Build Integration\nPartner with design, construction, and facilities teams to embed sustainability requirements into new buildings and major retrofits across our APAC sites.\nEnsure alignment with internal sustainable construction guidelines (e.g., energy efficiency, electrification, renewable readiness).\nSupport implementation of green building certifications (e.g., LEED, local standards such as Green Mark where applicable).\nAdvise on low-carbon materials, electrification strategies, and energy-efficient system design.\nFacilities Sustainability Programs & Continuous Improvement\nPartner with site facilities teams to identify and implement energy efficiency and sustainability improvements across existing operations.\nLead or support energy audits, performance assessments, and environmental impact evaluations.\nDevelop and track KPIs related to energy, carbon, water, and waste performance.\nSupport adoption of best practices in sustainable operations across diverse APAC facilities.\nBuild business cases (ROI, carbon abatement, cost savings) for facility-level sustainability projects.\nCollaborate with Finance and ESG teams to prioritize and track investment performance.\nIdentify high-impact, scalable projects for funding across APAC sites.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Governance\nAct as a technical liaison between ESG, facilities, construction, and regional site teams.\nSupport vendor and partner engagement, including renewable energy developers and engineering firms.\nEnsure compliance with local regulations, internal standards, and corporate sustainability commitments.\nContribute to reporting, dashboards, and executive updates on program progress.\nParticipate in industry forums, conferences, and related events\nWho we’re looking for\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Facilities Engineering (or related field).\n~8-12 years of experience in facilities engineering, renewable energy, or sustainability engineering roles.\nExperience supporting energy projects such as solar PV, energy efficiency, or building systems optimization.\nWorking knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, utilities) and energy management practices.\nStrong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.\nAbility to travel up to ~25% per month\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience working in APAC markets (e.g., Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, India, China).\nFamiliarity with renewable energy procurement models (PPAs, green tariffs, I-RECs).\nExperience supporting construction or greenfield site development.\nCertifications such as LEED, CEM, or solar PV-related credentials.\nExperience building financial/business cases for capital projects.\nKey Competencies\nRenewable energy systems (solar PV, storage integration)\nFacilities engineering & infrastructure systems\nSustainable building design and construction\nFinancial analysis and capital planning\nRegulatory awareness across APAC markets\nData analysis and performance tracking\nStakeholder engagement and project execution\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
