As part of this team, you will help drive initiatives that improve cost management, strengthen financial controls, and support data-driven decision-making across a complex and rapidly growing logistics environment.\nThe impact you’ll make\nYou will enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency across Lam's global transportation network by improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening billing governance, optimizing vendor performance, and delivering data-driven insights that support cost management, process automation, and strategic logistics decisions.\nWhat you’ll do\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDevelop and maintain global logistics dashboards, KPIs, executive reporting, and quarterly accrual reporting to provide visibility into transportation spend and operational performance.\nManage freight spend analytics, billing, and forecasting activities, including variance analysis, trend monitoring, and financial reporting in collaboration with third-party freight audit and payment providers.\nProactively identify, investigate, and resolve freight billing exceptions, invoice discrepancies, and process gaps to improve billing accuracy and financial controls.\nLead continuous improvement and automation initiatives that reduce manual processes, streamline exception management, and increase operational efficiency.\nOversee third-party freight audit, billing, and payment vendors, including SLA management, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement programs.\nPartner with Finance, Transportation, Spares Operations, Warehouse Management, Trade Operations, and IT teams to implement system enhancements, reporting capabilities, and process improvements.\nAnalyze transportation spend, carrier performance, and operational data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support cost optimization and strategic decision-making.\nEstablish and maintain governance processes that improve invoice accuracy, audit compliance, forecasting reliability, and overall financial stewardship of logistics expenditures.\nSupport transportation cost-saving initiativesby leveraging analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the global logistics network.\nWho we’re looking for\nMinimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.\nStrong knowledge of freight billing, financial reporting, forecasting, and exception management.\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in global transportation, logistics, supply chain finance, freight audit, or transportation operations.\nKnowledge of freight billing, carrier invoicing, transportation cost management, and financial forecasting processes.\nExperience working with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, freight audit and payment solutions, or logistics analytics tools.\nAdvanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.\nExperience developing executive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and financial reporting for operational and leadership audiences.\nFamiliarity with process automation, data integration, and reporting solutions that improve operational efficiency and data quality.\nExperience managing third-party logistics providers, freight audit vendors, or outsourced service partners, including performance monitoring and SLA management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience partnering across Finance, Operations, IT, and Supply Chain organizations.\nExperience supporting continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization projects, or digital transformation programs within a logistics or supply chain environment.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
