Together, we support users globally with data, information, and systems to achieve their business objectives.\nThe impact you’ll make\nThe Operational Technology (OT) Engineer is responsible for supporting, securing, and managing OT infrastructure, systems, and devices used within engineering labs and manufacturing environments. This role ensures operational continuity, cybersecurity compliance, asset lifecycle management, and technology standardization while acting as a bridge between business functions, engineering teams, manufacturing operations, and IT organizations.\nWhat you’ll do\n1. Security & Governance\nEnsure compliance with corporate Information Security policies and standards.\nDevelop and maintain OT policies, procedures, and operational standards.\nManage cybersecurity controls including:\nSecurity patching\nAnti-malware solutions\nDevice certification and audits\nAsset inventory management\nSupport security exception evaluations and remediation activities.\nMaintain OT network security, firewall rules, segmentation, and device access controls.\n2. Operations & Support\nProvide operational support for OT infrastructure, systems, and devices.\nManage OT hardware and software lifecycle processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve critical incidents (P1/P2).\nDeliver onsite and after-hours support when necessary.\nMaintain OT asset inventories and hardware standards.\nSupport engineering and manufacturing systems\nCoordinate preventive maintenance and system health monitoring.\n3. Technology & Innovation\nAdvise business stakeholders on technology strategies and risk reduction.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.\nParticipate in OT architecture reviews and technology assessments.\nSupport global OT standardization initiatives.\nContribute to automation, application modernization, and infrastructure improvement projects.\n4. Project & Service Delivery\nLead or support OT-related infrastructure and business projects.\nMonitor project schedules, deliverables, and operational metrics.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.\nProvide recommendations for lifecycle replacement and technology refresh programs.\nSupport implementation of cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. \n5. Business Partnership\nAct as the primary OT point of contact for engineering and manufacturing organizations.\nCoordinate activities among OT, IT, Security, Facilities, and Business teams.\nTranslate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.\nRepresent OT in operational reviews and strategic planning discussions.\nServe as the \"voice of the business\" while balancing operational, security, and safety priorities.\nWho we’re looking for\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years of experience supporting OT, IT Infrastructure, Manufacturing IT, or Industrial Automation environments.\nExperience with:\nWindows administration\nEndpoint security\nPatch management\nAsset management\nNetwork fundamentals\nIncident management\nKnowledge of cybersecurity practices in manufacturing or engineering environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\n\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience supporting manufacturing cleanroom or engineering laboratory environments.\nFamiliarity with Industrial IoT (IIoT), SCADA, PLC, or manufacturing systems.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and auditing requirements.\nExperience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Defender, BeyondTrust, or similar enterprise tools.\nProject management experience.\n\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
