This role is responsible for driving system adoption, process optimization, break-fix resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness, data integrity, decision quality, and overall business performance.\nActing as the liaison between Planning, Digital Transformation (DT), IT, and Kinaxis support teams, the SME ensures Kinaxis capabilities align with evolving business requirements and support the delivery of reliable, executable production plans across the global factory network. The role provides leadership in identifying system gaps, prioritizing enhancement opportunities, managing issue resolution, and enabling planners to maximize the value of the Kinaxis platform.\nWhat you’ll do\nIn this role, you will serve as the Kinaxis SME for Factory Production Planning, maximizing the value of the Kinaxis platform through system support, continuous improvement, business-driven reporting and analytics, and cross-functional partnership by:\nServe as the FPP Kinaxis Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Single Point of Contact (SPOC), providing business ownership, support, and guidance for all Kinaxis-related activities.\nOwn the intake, prioritization, communication, and resolution of Kinaxis break-fix issues, partnering with DT, IT, and Kinaxis teams to drive timely resolution and minimize operational disruption.\nLead continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing system enhancements that improve planning quality, automation, efficiency, and user experience.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance Kinaxis reporting and analytics that enable business decision-making, including reports and dashboards for SRF changes, capacity gaps, available-to-promise (ATP), next available slot, schedule adherence, and planning performance.\nGather and translate business requirements into system solutions, managing the Kinaxis enhancement backlog and ensuring planning processes, business rules, and data are accurately represented within the platform.\nCoordinate testing, validation, training, and deployment of new capabilities while partnering across Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and DT teams to maximize the value of Kinaxis and support predictable planning outcomes.\nWho we’re looking for\nStrategic and analytical thinker with strong business acumen and attention to detail.\nData-driven decision maker with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\nEffective communicator and collaborator who influences and aligns stakeholders across functions and regions.\nDemonstrates a high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to execution excellence.\nAdaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and competing demands.\nPassionate about continuous improvement, standardization, and building scalable planning processes.\nPreferred qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field.\n5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, or related disciplines.\nDemonstrated experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or equivalent advanced planning systems.\nStrong understanding of production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, MRP, and S&OP processes.\nExperience translating business requirements into system solutions.\nProven project management and stakeholder management capabilities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.\nExperience supporting enterprise system implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAPICS / ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
