You'll apply digital design, CAD software, and interpret engineering drawings to implement designs that solve material and manufacturing process challenges. Your expertise contributes to the reliability and innovation, showcasing Lam's commitment to cutting-edge technology.\nEligibility Criteria\nEducational qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Design (Systems and Power Boxes: Cable Design & Routing).\n\nYears of Experience: B.E/B.Tech with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.\n\nMandatory Skills\nInteract with cross functional teams (India and US) like Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, etc. to get the inputs on interpretation of mechanical drawings/specifications and electrical wiring drawings and interconnects.\nCable & harness routing, polyline routing and any other flexible component routing using NX/CREO Cable routing module.\nSupports manufacturing/supply chain by documenting and releasing engineering harness drawings.\nProviding the required length to build the cables, polylines and other flexible components.\nProvide timely solutions for efficient routing and better packaging of components.\nParticipate in design reviews; Prepare and present design reviews.\nProvides resolution to design and documentation quality issues (Problem Reports /QB issues/ Supplier Build issues) on routing.\nCreate, release and maintain standard procedure for 3D routing for the team.\nProficient in 3D routing module in NX/CREO.\n\nWell versed with interpretation of mechanical drawings/specifications and electrical schematics.\nWorking knowledge in OEM Component selection (connectors, back shells etc.), design standards and BoM (Bill of Material) Management.\nProblem solving and decision-making skills.\nDesirable Skills\nPrior experience in the semiconductor equipment industry.\n\nExperience with documentation standards and Engineering Change Management processes.\n\nFamiliarity with Bills of Material (BOM) structure and configuration, and knowledge of PDM and PLM system like Team center and SAP PLM, etc\nTeamwork and collaboration skills.\nShould have good communication skills (written & verbal) and presentation skills.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
