You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging.\nEligibility Criteria\nEducational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical) M.Tech is an added advantage\nYears of experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience\nMandatory Skills\nLeads mechanical design projects by contributing to conceptualization, development, analysis, documentation and test/validation of mechanical components\nAbility to generate drawings and decide GD&T.\nAbility to modify and augment existing parts to meet new requirements and designs.\nProvide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the first build process, product performance and customer field issues\nCollaborate with technical owner to study and recommend corrective solutions for Problem Reports of varying complexities; ability to address Problem Reports of highest complexity\nProvide immediate response and timely resolution to design related issues.\nConduct/Participate in Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.\nLeading Interactions with PG counterpart in India / US and influencing the decision making and strategies\nLeads hand calculations for stress, deflection, factor of safety, center of gravity, Free body diagram for static and dynamic conditions\nDesigns machined components, frames, sheet metal parts\nKnowledge of Creo\nAdditional and Desirable Skills:\nProficient in 3D Modelling, Assembly and Detailing using CREO (Nx is optional).\nProficiency in designing medium complex sheet metal and machined structures and release of manufacturing drawings\nKnowledge of PDM and PLM system like Team center and SAP PLM, etc.\nWell versed with interpretation of mechanical drawings/specifications and electrical schematics.\nKnowledge in Engineering Change Management Process\nGood knowledge of GD&T dimensioning for drawings.\nKnowledge about Thermal hand calculations and basic simulations (Conduction, Convection, Heat dissipation and increase in temperature) to facilitate selection of heat sinks, Cooling systems like Fans etc\nProblem solving and decision-making skills\nTeamwork and collaboration skills\nShould have good communication skills (written & verbal) and presentation skill\nCreate and release engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
