Your role involves feasibility studies, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging.\nWhat you’ll do\nSupport the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization including conceptualization, designing, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation.\nDesigns components using variety of metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.\nEnsure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\nConduct detailed analysis including structural, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly specify designs.\nDevelop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance.\nPrepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.\nCollaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions can be manufactured with high-quality, cost-optimized, and to requirements.\nProvide key deliverables including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), technical specifications, risk analysis, test specifications, and design review presentations.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers\nWho we’re looking for\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.\nExcellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.\nHighly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, SolidWorks, and others.\nHands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in Semiconductor industry is a plus.\nExperience in leading projects, or problem solving while managing time and multiple priorities.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
