Integrates advanced computer vision, sensor fusion, and real-time control algorithms to enable predictive maintenance capabilities and minimize equipment downtime in critical fab environments. Applies advanced electronic control systems, designs and assists in the manufacture of consumer products and in the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines. Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products.\nWhat you’ll do\nWork collaboratively in a cross-functional team to design, build, test & troubleshoot applications on Lam robotic system\nDevelop and validate computer vision pipelines for equipment inspection, AI assisted path planning and orchestration\n Design robotic path programs and motion trajectories to safely navigate complex fab equipment geometry while maintaining precision and repeatability\nApply advanced robotics theories, control systems methods, and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of maintenance challenges\nAct as liaison for cross-functional projects across equipment engineering, software development, and field support organizations\nPrototype, test, and iterate on mechanical, electrical, and software components to optimize performance and reliability\nCreate detailed design documentation, technical specifications Integrate sensors, actuators & control systems to enable autonomous operation & intelligent behaviour\nConduct thorough testing and validation procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements\nDesign and conduct test experiments pertaining to the resolution of complex technical problems\nImplementation of DOE principles\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during all phases of the project lifecycle\nGenerate clear and concise presentations and data driven reports to communicate engineering solutions and provide clear technical recommendations\nAcquire and apply basic engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems\nAct as liaison for cross-functional projects across multiple organizations Robotic path programming and computer vision extremely valuable\nWho we’re looking for\nBachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.\n8+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following domains: Robotics, Computer Vision, Path Planning, Control Theory, Sensor Fusion, or Deep Learning.\nExpert-level programming skills in C++ and Python, with a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts\nExtensive hands-on experience with ROS2 in complex or commercial projects.\nProven track record of developing and deploying large-scale robotics software from the ground up.\nProficiency with Git or similar version control systems and experience with modern software development workflows\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with the MoveIt framework.\nFamiliarity with simulation environments like Gazebo or Isaac Sim.\nA track record of publications in top-tier robotics or computer vision conferences (e.g., ICRA, IROS, RSS, CVPR) is a plus\nKnowledge of URscript and Experience with Behavior tree is a plus\nExperience with robotic hardware design and end effector application development Proficient in MCAD model creations\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
