Your passion for engaging with customers and innovative engineering drives progress in our industry, tackling the once-unsolvable.\nWhat you’ll do\nProvides technical support to customers, field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging Etch Gas Delivery hardware.\nProvides quality remote and on-site escalation support and escalation management.\nReports design, reliability, and maintenance issues, as well as software bugs, to the design and software engineering teams.\nProvides software requirements for new features and the operation of gas delivery hardware.\nWorks with suppliers to develop and qualify new components.\nPerforms testing and analyzes data for new and existing gas delivery hardware.\nCreates and updates documentation for field service engineers and customers.\nMay be involved in customer installations and training.\nProvides support to customers and users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.\nWho we’re looking for\nMaster's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of related industry experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in product engineering.\nOf the required experience, must have at least 1 year of experience in three of the following areas: electromechanical system design and manufacturing; systems engineering and integration; statistical methods for modeling multivariate data sets; statistical process control; vacuum systems; or semiconductor technologies.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience working on projects involving fluid mechanics and gas delivery systems.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience reading and working from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams, as well as interpreting operation manuals.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience with statistical process control and basic statistical analysis in a production environment.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience working with suppliers to source and procure components, as well as perform failure analysis.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience using one or more of the following software tools or programming languages: CAD, OrCAD, LabVIEW, MATLAB, JMP, OpenMP, Fortran, C, C#, Python, STAR-CCM+, Fluent, COMSOL, Origin, or Maxwell.\nMust possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and demonstrate expertise in formal problem-solving methodologies.\nStrong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical content, influence peers, respond to questions with confidence, and perform well under pressure.\nExperience gained while completing a graduate degree will be considered in addition to the minimum experience requirements.\nPreferred qualifications\nPrior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.\nExposure to and familiarity with building agentic AI solutions to automate decision-making and engineering processes, including analysis and action planning.\nExperience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.\nExperience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
