The impact you’ll make

As a Development Lead in the Enterprise Applications group at Lam Research, you will help lead the design, development, customization, and support of enterprise solutions across SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and custom .NET applications in support of protecting content leveraging Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MIP). This role is both hands-on and leadership-focused, requiring strong technical expertise, the ability to guide contractor developers, and close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

What you’ll do

· Partner with process leads, business subject matter experts, and IT teams to support, enhance, and deliver custom applications and business processes.

· Focus development effort in support of Information Protection of Lam authored documents containing Lam intellection property.

· Lead a small team of contractor developers by assigning work, providing technical direction, mentoring team members, and overseeing project delivery, break/fix work, and incident resolution.

· Provide hands-on technical leadership for custom solutions built with .NET, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Azure services, Power Automate, and related technologies.

· Own and manage custom development activities, including solution design, code quality, delivery coordination, and contractor resource oversight.

· Perform technical analysis to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve code, configuration, integration, and architecture-related issues.

· Evaluate existing solutions and recommend improvements that increase reliability, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

· Build strong working relationships with business sponsors, product owners, IT partners, and support teams to ensure timely resolution of requests and delivery of business value.

· Apply technical and domain knowledge to develop effective solutions and mentor team members through all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle using Agile practices.

Who we’re looking for

· Senior-level, hands-on experience with C#, .NET, React, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and related development technologies.

· Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MIP). Ability to mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior developers and contractor resources.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

· Proven ability to lead in a team environment, build effective working relationships, and work independently when needed.

· Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, Agile delivery practices, and production support processes.

· 10+ years of experience developing SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online applications, including hands-on coding experience.

· 5+ years of experience working with Azure services and Microsoft Power Platform.

· Experience designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions, including modern sites, custom applications, and integrations.

· Design, develop, and maintain enhancements to existing Microsoft Information Protection capabilities, including solutions related to Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Azure Information Protection.

· Develop SharePoint Framework solutions using TypeScript, including web parts, extensions, and reusable components.

· Build and manage workflow automation using Power Automate.

· Create automation scripts using PowerShell and PnP PowerShell for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration.

· Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and custom business logic using C# and .NET.

· Design and implement SQL Server database solutions, including queries, stored procedures, integrations, and performance optimization.

· Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, testing, and deployment.

· Support release management, versioning, deployment automation, and environment management practices.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues across SharePoint, automation workflows, custom applications, integrations, and databases.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

· Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and DevOps.

Required Qualifications

· 8+ years of hands-on SharePoint development experience.

· 8+ years of experience with Azure architecture, including resource groups, Function Apps, scalable cloud services, and related Azure components.

· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Microsoft Information Protection SDK, and Azure Information Protection SDK.

· Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Framework and TypeScript.

· Hands-on experience building and supporting automation with Power Automate.

· Strong scripting experience using PowerShell.

· Experience using the PnP PowerShell module for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration.

· Strong experience with C# and .NET development.

· Strong SQL Server experience, including queries, stored procedures, data modeling, integration, and performance optimization.

· Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

· Experience with DevOps practices, automated deployments, release management, and environment management.

Preferred qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
