This individual contributor role translates long-range demand signals into actionable production plans, evaluates factory capacity and constraints, identifies supply and demand risks, and recommends actions that support predictable delivery outcomes. The role works cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Product Business Units, Finance, and other planning partners to support S&OP, capacity planning, recovery planning, and continuous improvement.\nWhat you’ll do\nGlobal Production Planning & Execution\nDevelop and maintain global and site-specific production plans across a 0-18 month planning horizon.\nTranslate customer demand, business priorities, factory capabilities, and operational constraints into executable production recommendations.\nCreate quarterly production schedules and output targets that support customer responsiveness, lead-time objectives, factory utilization, and delivery performance.\nAnalyze factory loading and recommend balancing actions to improve capacity utilization and operational efficiency.\nS&OP & Capacity Planning\nSupport GOps Sizing and Quarterly Review (QxR) processes by integrating demand forecasts, production capacity, inventory strategies, and business requirements.\nConsolidate capability and constraint inputs from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Management, and Finance into planning scenarios and recommendations.\nDevelop scenario-based capacity analyses to assess business growth, demand changes, and operational trade-offs.\nRisk Management & Recovery Planning\nIdentify and assess risks that may affect delivery performance, factory output, or customer commitments.\nDevelop contingency plans, recovery capacity models, and alternative production scenarios for identified risks.\nEvaluate factory cross-qualification opportunities that improve network flexibility and business continuity.\nFactory Network Optimization\nAnalyze Global Factory Network loading, flexibility, responsiveness, and scalability.\nCoordinate planning inputs for cross-site product qualifications and production shifts in response to changing demand profiles.\nRecommend load-balancing actions that leverage global manufacturing capabilities and support level loading across factories.\nIdentify opportunities to improve cycle time, throughput, capacity utilization, and output predictability.\nCross-Functional Program Management\nCoordinate planning activities, decisions, dependencies, and action items across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance.\nPrepare data-driven planning recommendations and business updates for cross-functional and senior stakeholders.\nCommunicate risks, opportunities, assumptions, and operational trade-offs clearly and concisely.\nTrack decisions and follow-through to support timely execution of agreed planning actions.\nContinuous Improvement\nEvaluate production planning methodologies, tools, systems, and business processes for improvement opportunities.\nDevelop improvements focused on planning accuracy, automation, process simplification, data quality, and operational efficiency.\nDocument planning assumptions, processes, decision criteria, and lessons learned to support repeatable execution.\nWho we’re looking for\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.\n6+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, program management, or related functions.\nExperience supporting S&OP, capacity planning, demand and supply balancing, or integrated business planning processes.\nDemonstrated experience developing planning analyses and recommendations in complex, global manufacturing environments.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, program management, and cross-functional communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and convert complex data into clear actions and recommendations.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in semiconductor, capital equipment, high-tech manufacturing, or complex build-to-order environments.\nStrong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, advanced planning tools, and production planning data structures.\nExperience with global factory network planning, cross-site production balancing, or product cross-qualification.\nExperience developing dashboards, scenario models, and executive-ready planning materials.\nLean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, PMP, or similar professional certification.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
