You'll also be responsible for leading and proliferating 8D program at Lam. 8D is Lam’s primary mechanism for resolving nonconformances registered on products and services. You’ll combine your problem-solving expertise and semiconductor technical knowledge to further Lam’s vision and goals for sustainable problem solutions and customer satisfaction.\nWhat you’ll do\nOptimize the design, deployment, execution, and measurement of Lam’s Key Quality Programs. \nEnsure successful resolution of nonconformances to positively impact Lam’s customers. \nProactively use non conformance data analysis to improve manufacturing practices and supplier base part quality and decrease Cost of Poor Quality. \nInfluence and enhance Lam's Quality culture by advocating for strong problem solving skills across the organization. \nPerform assessments and audits of in-flight 8D records and improve outcomes via coaching or mentoring record owners to a successful resolution, including recurrence prevention across global sites. \nPerform data analysis to understand root causes of misses in cycle time completion and below target audit scores; collaborate with stakeholders for solutioning.\nWho we’re looking for\n12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 8 years of experience with a Master’s Degree or 5 years of experience with Ph.D. \nBA/BS degree in a STEM field and/or Quality Management. \nExperience as a Project/Program Manager with escalating responsibilities. \nDemonstrable abilities in advanced structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PDCA), Lean Six Sigma, and other established quality tools. \nExperience in successfully leading others in structured problem-solving methodologies and use of quality tools to solve complex problems. \nKnowledge and application of Change Management methodologies across a global organization is required. \nPreferred qualifications\nKnowledge of/experience working with semiconductor device properties, product development, and manufacturing processes is highly desired. \nExperience in Quality Management, Product Development/Engineering, Manufacturing, or Customer Service is a plus. \nISO 9001:2015 auditing and/or participation is a plus. \nAbility to exercise forward thinking via integration of data analytics and AI applications is highly preferred. \nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
