The impact you’ll make
As a Quality Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. Your expertise will help develop excellence in product design and manufacturing supporting Lam's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products.
What you’ll do
This role is expected to lead and maintain the QMS framework in accordance with ISO standards, manage the full audit cycle from planning to reporting, and ensure total compliance by bridging the gap between high-level ISO standards, group-level expectations, and actual day-to-day production line activities. The responsibilities include but not limited to:
- ISO Certification Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of projects to obtain and maintain ISO certifications; coordinate with external registrar bodies for official audits.
- Group & Internal Liaison: Act as the primary contact for Corporate/Group audits, aligning local site operations with global quality strategies.
- Process & Line Audits: Conduct regular shop-floor audits to ensure production lines strictly follow Control Plans and Work Instructions.
- Audit Readiness (Mock Audits): Organize and execute mock audits to identify gaps and ensure the team is prepared for official third-party or customer inspections.
- Documentation: Maintain Quality Manuals and SOPs to ensure compliance with ISO and corporate standards.
- New Hire Orientation: Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to ensure all new employees are aligned with QMS standards and compliance policies.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
