As Senior Manager, Ethics & Compliance, you will be a trusted advisor to business leaders and a key partner in strengthening our culture of ethics, accountability, and responsible business conduct. You will work across a dynamic global organization to identify and mitigate compliance risks, support investigations, support business decision-making, and help ensure our compliance program remains effective, practical, and aligned with our values.\nThis role reports directly to the Managing Director, Ethics & Compliance Operations and Compliance Programs and works closely with dotted line reporting to the Korea Legal Leader to support the business and drive Ethics & Compliance initiatives within South Korea.\nThis is a highly visible role that combines strategic program leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, global environment.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead Ethics & Compliance Programs\nSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of Lam's global Ethics & Compliance program in South Korea.\nCollaborate closely with regional and global colleagues to promote consistency, share leading practices, enhance and implement compliance controls, and drive governance processes.\nDevelop metrics and reporting to assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.\nSupport strategic compliance projects and enterprise-wide initiatives.\nAssess and Mitigate Compliance Risks\nConduct risk assessments, monitoring, and testing to identify compliance risks and evaluate controls.\nAnalyze data, trends, and emerging risks and recommend practical mitigation measures.\nSupport anti-bribery and corruption, third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and related risk programs.\nHelp mitigate risks to customer confidential information by providing guidance on appropriate handling, access controls, escalation, and compliance with customer data protection obligations.\nPartner with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and other internal specialists to help assess developments in relevant South Korean regulations and laws and coordinate appropriate business support.\nSupport Investigations and Case Management\nSupport investigations involving concerns raised through the Ethics Helpline or other reporting mechanisms.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes, develop corrective action and remediation plans, and implement sustainable control improvements that reduce future risk.\nProvide Labor and Employment Counsel\nProvide practical, risk-based guidance on South Korean labor and employment matters, including workplace policies, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, workforce changes, and other employment-related issues.\nPartner with Human Resources, Legal, and business leaders to identify and mitigate labor and employment risks, support compliant and consistent decision-making, and monitor relevant\nServe as a Trusted Business Advisor\nProvide practical, risk-based guidance on ethics and compliance matters.\nPartner closely with business leaders to support business objectives, promote ethical decision-making, and address compliance risks.\nCollaborate with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Enterprise Security, Procurement, Finance, Trade Compliance, and other business functions.\nDrive Training, Communications, and Culture\nDevelop and facilitate compliance training, workshops, and awareness initiatives.\nPromote a strong Speak Up, Listen Up culture and encourage ethical leadership at all levels of the organization.\nSupport regional and global efforts to strengthen employee engagement in ethics and compliance programs.\nWho we’re looking for\nLaw degree or equivalent professional qualification.\nLicensed attorney in South Korea, the United States, or another relevant jurisdiction.\n10-15 years of progressive experience in ethics and compliance, legal, investigations, regulatory, risk management, or related disciplines.\nSignificant experience supporting multinational organizations and cross-border matters.\nExperience in a multinational corporation's ethics and compliance, legal, internal audit, investigations, or risk management function.\nExperience in private practice, litigation, regulatory enforcement, government service, corporate investigations, or corporate governance.\nExperience working with business teams and legal or compliance professionals across multiple AP jurisdictions in a multinational environment.\nStrong understanding of anti-bribery and corruption laws, third-party risk management, investigations, conflict of interest programs, employment law, and corporate compliance frameworks.\nExperience conducting due diligence and supporting strategic business initiatives, acquisitions, or integrations.\nFluency in both Korean and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExceptional judgment, integrity, and professional credibility.\nAbility to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.\nStrong investigative, interviewing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a matrixed global environment.\nStrong business acumen and a practical approach to compliance and risk
