Supplier Engineering & Technology (SET) is a global organization that innovates in manufacturing technology, materials technology, and supply chain quality for next generation semiconductor process equipment. Supplier Engineer is responsible for innovation and problem-solving in Major Modules Systems manufacturing, test, supplier quality, supply chain design, and material & supplier selection, development, and technology.\nWhat you’ll do\nDeveloping Suppliers to meet Lam quality standards\nInterfacing with key teams within Lam including technical product groups, account teams and global operations as a representative of SET\nInfluencing decisions and company driven objectives within internal and external groups to achieve company goals\nProvide seamless interface with SET global commodity heads to account teams and other members of SET\nOrganizing and owning internal and external Review Meetings\nAuthoring and implementing new and updated Business Processes/integration to SET global ops business processes\nPresentations/communications to senior executives internal and external to SET\nDefine and clarify technical issues with customer installed tools and be able to clearly communicate the issues\nAble to provide key Technical Analysis for Problem Solving process\nBuild key relationships with both the account team, suppliers and factory members\nLeads, and is personally accountable for high-profile project timelines and milestones\nContinuously working on process improvement and developing Best Known Methods\nWork closely with test engineers to provide an optimum trouble shooting methods\nPerform standardized supplier quality audits and administer supplier quality scorecard for existing suppliers to promote continuous improvement\nWho we’re looking for\nBachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in managing technical programs and projects, preferably in the Semiconductor Industry and knowledge in EFEM’s (Equipment Front End Modules) and BEM’s (Back End Modules) and PM (Process Module) will be an added advantage\nExperience in supplier process development & quality management\nStrong problem solving and experience solving complicated problems in the areas of mechanical and mechatronics engineering\nHave working knowledge of 6S/8 Wastes, 8D, RCCA, Failure Analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, 5-Why\nIn-depth understanding of equipment and component manufacturing processes of Semiconductor equipment system (Wafer handler, Process module, EFEM, vacuum systems)\nBasic understanding for workmanship standards especially, assembly process, cable routing, sheet metal and machining\nProven track record of managing technical projects to completion while accomplishing goals\nEnergetic and goal-oriented\nExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills\nAbility to work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals\nAbility to track and organize multiple concurrent activities\nAble to travel within SEA (~ 30%)\nPreferred qualifications\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
