Through effective instruction, hands-on coaching, and consistent delivery of high-quality training, you will help employees and customers apply best practices safely and confidently, improve operational performance, reduce knowledge gaps, and support stronger business and customer outcomes.\nWhat you’ll do\nDevelops deposition process courses and delivers technical training on Lam deposition tools.\nConducts process technical training for customers and Lam employees on complex process applications and fundamentals across multiple products.\nCollaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and customer support engineers, to ensure course content is relevant and applicable.\nManages course development projects to ensure high-quality training materials are completed on schedule.\nDelivers courses through synchronous formats, including in-person and remote sessions, as well as asynchronous web-based training. 10 - 15% travel may be required.\nDevelops and delivers training for Lam process and product engineers and customers with diverse academic backgrounds and levels of experience.\nLeadership\nServes as a technical resource for colleagues and students.\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams to obtain the information and outcomes needed.\nConducts technical literature reviews to address gaps in theory and process mechanisms.\nUpdates existing courses and develops new training for the latest products.\nCustomer Relations\nRepresents the company professionally in customer interactions. Applies knowledge of the company’s products and services to keep existing and potential customers informed and serves as a process technical training liaison between customers and subject matter experts to ensure questions are addressed.\nDrives continuous improvement of existing courses.\nDemonstrates a strong passion for teaching and learner development.\nWho we’re looking for\nB.S. or equivalent with 12+ years of relevant work experience; or\nM.S. with 8+ years of relevant work experience; or\nPh.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 5+ years of relevant work experience.\nPreferred qualifications\nSemiconductor industry experience with in-depth knowledge of Lam deposition tools.\nStrong knowledge of plasma deposition processes and fundamental principles.\nAbility to mechanistically connect fundamental principles to process results.\nStrong device-integration knowledge, including the ability to explain how deposition applications fit within theoverall fabrication process for logic and memory devices.\n\nExperience evaluating and resolving productivity-related issues, such as chamber cleaning, processtroubleshooting, chamber matching, and defectivity.\n\nStrong understanding of chamber design and its impact on process results.\nStrong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nExcellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverseteams, customers, and internal and external partners.\n\nExperience developing and delivering technical training sessions.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
