We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.\nThe impact you’ll make\nThe New Product Transition (NPT) Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end transition of new products from development into field deployment and high-volume manufacturing readiness. This role serves as the critical bridge between product strategy, engineering, and field operations, ensuring successful product introduction with minimal risk and optimal customer outcomes. The NPT Manager drives cross-functional alignment, ensures field readiness, manages transition risks, and delivers successful outcomes across beta, release, and ramp phases.\nWhat you’ll do\nProgram Leadership & Readiness Governance\nLead the Field Readiness workstream within cross-functional product development programs from early development through release and operational transition.\nDevelop and maintain Field Readiness Plans aligned to program milestones, PDR requirements, customer deployment schedules, and business objectives.\nDrive alignment across Product Engineering, Product Support, Training, Quality, and Account Teams to ensure readiness deliverables are completed on time.\nField Readiness Planning & Execution\nEnsure field organizations are prepared to install, start up, qualify, support, troubleshoot, and service new products.\nPartner with Product Support and Training organizations to ensure field capability requirements are met prior to deployment.\nCustomer Deployment & Early Lifecycle Support\nCoordinate field readiness activities for beta, first customer shipment, restricted release, and early production deployments.\nSupport FOAK and strategic customer installations by ensuring resources, procedures, support structures, and escalation paths are established.\nRisk Management & Readiness Assurance\nIdentify readiness risks that may impact customer success, installation performance, serviceability, field productivity, or product support.\nMaintain readiness dashboards, action items, and issue tracking mechanisms to ensure visibility and accountability.\nTransition to Normal Operations\nPlan and coordinate successful transition of ownership from NPT to Field Productivity Owners, Account Teams, and Product Support organizations.\nEnsure readiness packages, training materials, procedures, support models, and lessons learned are transferred to operational teams.\nWho we’re looking for\nBachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience; or a PhD with 5+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.\n8+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and demonstrating excellent leadership and influence skills to deliver results.\nExcellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the company.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in or deep knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.\nExpert knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.\nExpertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.\nOur commitment\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
