This position ensures that the warehouse runs at optimum efficiency while collaborating with a team, which includes keeping machines and work area in a clean, sanitary condition and following hygienic zoning protocols. Abides by all company policies and procedures. Logistics will provide relief to other associates as needed.Job Description\nBe a role model on following company policies and procedures.\nMust have a good understanding of warehouse operations and daily tasks as assigned.\nTechnical knowledge of equipment ownership - operate and maintain at base condition.\nParticipates in root cause analysis exercises and activities, aware of tools available for root cause analysis identification.\nSupports all other warehouse tasks as assigned.\nHelp maintain inventory records by making sure transfers and changes are recorded accurately.\nCan do PM tasks as assigned.\nMarks materials with identifying information.\nComplete skills validations within required training timeframe\nConveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.\nSorts and places items on racks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code\nConfronts wrong behaviors against standard requirement of SOPs, GMP and safety practices to improve team performance.\nVerify accurate product placement during receiving process with the use of an Inbound Receiving Note\nSorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.\nExecutes appropriate inventory tasks.\nDrives forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant and from warehouse to truck or railcar.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n Basic & Preferred Qualifications\nWe have no doubt these skills will help you on the job:\nBreak relief for other team members as assigned.\nMust be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions in English.\nMust be able to safely lift 50 pounds and on occasion, may have to lift or exert up to 100 pounds with team lifting.\nAble to display skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and cleaning automated equipment.\nMaintaining accurate records and data\nDisplay strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.\nOperating essential material handling equipment at the site e.g., clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks, etc.\nWe believe to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements:\nUse basic hand and power tools.\nLift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms; twist, turn and bend.\nEnter confined spaces.\nStand on concrete floors for an extended period.\nThe American Falls Lamb Weston Plant operates 7-days per week. Logistics work any day of the week, including weekends. The hours of work are typically 12 hours per day. Technicians are expected to be willing to work any shift.
