This role also manages applicable Learning & Development systems and communicates key performance metrics to stakeholders. This position will be a liaison between leadership and team members on all training-related needs and will collaborate with all Lamb Weston Pillars and team members to ensure the facility maintains a culture of continuous improvement and skill building to achieve strategic business objectives.Job Description\nLeads the design, planning, and implementation of skills capability programs. \nDirects, mentors and develops the Plant Learning & Development team. \nUtilizing adult learning and development tools, develops, administers, and facilitates team member training. \nPerforms skills gap analysis to identify workforce training gaps and needs to determine the basis for training. \nManages the development and sustainability of plant training materials. \nCoaches subject matter experts in course development, ensuring alignment with instructional design principles and defined learning objectives. \nCollaborates with shift leadership to schedule and conduct training. \nMaintains training and participation records and ensures that all team members receive all required training and recertifications. \nEnsures team member participation, the implementation and quality of training, and the resolution of related issues \nEnsures instructor credibility and integrity by responding to trainee feedback and needs. \nEnsures plant training needs are met, and training and qualification records are available to plant leadership \nLeads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of standards in the learning management system, including e-learning modules. \n Basic & Preferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree preferred in Organizational Development, Operations Management, Educational Studies, Adult Education, or related fields \n3-5 years in a leadership or site-level training management role within a manufacturing environment \nProven experience building and scaling learning plans, including on-the-job training (OJT), skill matrices, career pathing, and skill needs analysis. \nDemonstrated ability to leverage adult learning theory, behavior-based training, and frontline engagement models. \nDemonstrated success in aligning L&D strategies with KPIs such as workforce retention, safety performance, and audit readiness. \nProcess Quality certified preferred or other similar manufacturing certifications \nEffective communicator, capable of briefing plant leadership, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and managing upward communication on capability risks and successes. \nDemonstrated ability to coach and mentor front-line leaders, supporting leadership development, and succession pipelines. \nBuilds and maintains strong organizational credibility; operates as a trusted advisor on capability strategy \nDemonstrated experience in leading change and situational leadership \nStrong project management skills, able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. \nCapabilities (All foundation)\nDrive Continuous Improvement \nEffective Business Partner \nLearning mindset \nFunctional Communication \nTechnical Aptitude \nChange Management \n Industry-Competitive Benefits\nCoupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
