Help support and coach the VeLOCity leads and other TM’s to identify and eliminate all causes of failure and ensure base condition and full useful life of all equipment assets on the line. Leads ensure all workers engaged in CIL’s, defect repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.Job Description\nResponsible for all maintenance and reliability functions from start to finish to include processing and packaging. Help support and coach the VeLOCity leads and other TM’s to identify and eliminate all causes of failure and ensure base condition and full useful life of all equipment assets on the line. Leads ensure all workers engaged in CIL’s, defect repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. Provides technical and problem-solving support for the plant and maintenance crews. Coach team members on capturing work using the maintenance log as well as utilizing SAP system. Supports and executes plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve the plants CBN goals and overall maintenance performance KPI’s. Works closely with production to ensure schedules are met and all planned work is completed and communicated in a timely fashion. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. Develop and implement daily job plans and communicate previous days performance against those plans to Maintenance Manager and Reliability Manager. Help support and coach line centric teams and veLOCity standards.\nPosition Responsibilities\nLeadership & Team Supervision\nDirectly supervise maintenance mechanics supporting assigned areas.\nAssign daily work, set priorities, and manage Mechanic coverage across both lines.\nConduct shift huddles, performance discussions, and routine check-ins with the team.\nEnforce all safety standards, including LOTO, PPE, hot work, and safe work procedures.\nEnforce Precision Maintenance practices on all jobs.\nProvide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to improve Mechanic skill levels.\nSupport other Team Leaders across the facility. \nMaintenance Operations\nEnsure timely completion of PMs, PdMs, and corrective maintenance for all equipment in assigned area.\nReview maintenance requests, prioritize based on criticality, and coordinate work to minimize production impact.\nEnsure work orders are accurately completed in the CMMS, including parts, labor, and failure codes.\nSupport and guide troubleshooting efforts on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.\nCoordinate maintenance work during planned outages, line changeovers, and shutdowns.\nSupport and own Defect Handling in assigned area.\nOperational Support & Communication\nAct as the primary maintenance contact for Production Supervisors in the assigned area.\nCommunicate equipment status, planned work, and risk areas during daily operations meetings.\nLead rapid response to breakdowns on either line and ensure proper escalation and documentation.\nWork cross-functionally to balance production priorities with maintenance needs.\nRepresent Maintenance as necessary in Leadership meetings. \nReliability & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify reliability risks and lead implementation of corrective actions.\nParticipate in and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.\nTrack and report maintenance KPIs such as downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and PM compliance.\nSupport 5S, TPM, and other continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.\nResource & Materials Management\nManage parts usage and ensure availability of critical spares for equipment.\nVerify proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and shop resources.\nSupervise contractors performing work on either line to ensure safety and compliance.\nAssist with planning and forecasting maintenance resource needs.\nBasic & Preferred Qualifications\nQualifications\n5 -10 years industrial maintenance experience, 1-2 years leadership or supervisory responsibilities. \nStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical and controls experience preferred. \nDemonstrated ability to supervise teams and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple lines. \nExperience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes. \nStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. \nPhysical Requirements\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
