Lamons is conducting this search internally and is not partnering with staffing agencies or accepting unsolicited candidate submissions for this position.\nJob Summary\nThe Business Intelligence Analyst designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners with business leaders to gather reporting requirements, develop SQL-based data solutions, and deliver accurate, timely analytics through Tableau and other business intelligence tools. The Business Intelligence Analyst also supports reporting enhancements, data integrity, and emerging analytics technologies to improve business performance.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nMeet with business leaders and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting and dashboard requirements.\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.\nDevelop SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and prepare data for reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions. \nDevelop and maintain data models to support enterprise reporting, including fact and dimension tables and star schema designs.\nValidate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports, dashboards, and source systems.\nDevelop and maintain standardized reports and dashboards that promote consistent reporting across departments. \nTranslate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions that provide meaningful operational and financial insights.\nConsult with business leaders to understand reporting needs and recommend business intelligence solutions that support operational objectives. \nDevelop executive, operational, and departmental KPI dashboards to support performance monitoring and decision-making.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to identify reporting opportunities and recommend process improvements through business intelligence solutions.\nDocument report specifications, SQL scripts, data definitions, and dashboard functionality.\nMonitor and maintain existing reports and dashboards, implementing enhancements and resolving data or reporting issues as needed.\nSupport data integration and reporting initiatives involving SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or other relational database platforms.\nAssist with troubleshooting reporting, data, and system-related issues impacting business intelligence solutions.\nSupport the evaluation and implementation of AI-enabled reporting, automation, and analytics solutions, including the use of Python, APIs, and emerging AI technologies where applicable.\nStay current on business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization best practices and recommend improvements to reporting capabilities.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nSkills\nWorking knowledge of SQL skills, including joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.\nProficiency in Tableau report and dashboard development.\nUnderstanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts, including fact and dimension table design.\nAbility to gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.\nKnowledge of business intelligence concepts, KPI development, and data visualization best practices.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent attention to detail with the ability to validate and ensure data accuracy.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.\nExposure to Python programming, APIs, and emerging AI technologies is preferred.\nEducation\nRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. \nRecent graduates are encouraged to apply.\nPreferred: Coursework or certification in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Visualization. \nWork Experience\nRequired: Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualization through academic projects, internships, or professional experience.\nRequired: Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.\nPreferred: Experience gathering business requirements and delivering reporting solutions to business stakeholders. \nPreferred: Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operations -
