Writing and maintaining risk and COSHH assessments and performing proactive appropriate walk round safety inspections, pre-empting potential Health & Safety issues that could arise. Suitable record keeping of all health and safety related matters.\nManage all aspects of customer liaison to ensure the highest levels of support to front line Policing and other fleet users. This to include taking direct enquiries from all fleet users in order to fully explain vehicle repair and return status.\nPlease see the attached job specification for further details. \nSkills and Experience:\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a time served technician in the motor industry.\nExperience of managing and leading a team of a substantial size in a demanding operational environment.\nExperience of managing, motivating and developing staff in order to achieve business objectives.\nDemonstrable experience of implementing People Management policies and procedures.\nAbility to apply a problem-solving approach and resolve issues in creative and innovative ways.\nVetting and Medical:\nPlease be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV).
